Wet towel textures?

So when the towel gets wet, would it look any different? It would be pretty cool if TN made the fabric change textures when it gets wet. Like it might get darker in colour from touching the water in some stages, or from their sweat? Water also makes a cloth heavier. But I doubt the character...

Would it be 2D sprites? If so, then YES lol. I think it would look pretty awesome wht the cliffhanger, environment mechanics lol. But I know lots of gameplay changes would be necessary. In short, aesthetically, yes I would.
