A brand new character would be a breath of fresh air imo. Ryo we know he wouldn't stick around, even if he played great he would have to be replaced in DOA6, wasting a slot that would go to a "true" new character *points at Rachel* I don't really like Tengu but I would vote him just for those...

Nah it'll never end unless DOA is dead and buried. Any time a new character is speculated someone will always say Ryo even when/if DOA6 eventually rolls around. Hayashi opened up a can of worms mentioning that guy. Ninja'd! NINJA'D!

I think it's less so characters getting that so much as just one character having it in droves and no one else. If everyone was apparently as ridiculous as Rachel I doubt anyone would be complaining. (I say apparently as I don't have the game yet myself)

That's about the same as mine. A new VF character being the most likely and Ryo being the least likely.

Apparently not. Still have Ein and Akira even if both of them were kind of nerfed too, not nearly as bad as Hayate though, who wasn't great to begin with.

I haven't got the game yet. From what I've been told, P+K no longer causes a sit down stun but a bound so it's been nerfed if done from a sidestep. 3PP still guarantee's 33K but his juggles do less damage now. His only other sit down was situational and useless. So yeah, nerfed.

After everything I've been hearing about Rachel, I seriously want to fight this character.

6P+KP always gave +7 so that's not even a buff. He's still better than Eliot but it's not looking so great for this guy. Confirmed to still be the worst ninja looks like.

So.... he's actually worse than Vanilla Hayate... is that what I'm hearing? Welp, on to Momiji. Sorry Hayate you've been replaced.
