R really was a huge improvement. Even then some animations were noticeably wonky with Akira compared to how it looks in FS. Most noticeably his :3::H+K: string and that weird looking low-to-high kick he used to have. I'm glad they adjusted those to where they are now XD

VF5FS has some of the best animations in the genre. Perhaps their frame data compared to everyone else in DoA5 made them look weird in comparison. Not that I have too much of a problem with it, but I tend to overlook the discrepancies easily.

I'm pretty sure his auto parry is gonna turn into a :7::H: high punch counter, but who cares? Sarah is one tough cookie and I know for a fact Jacky's gonna be way up there in the tiers department with his sister. I think I'm gonna play with Jacky in VF5FS for a while to ease back all this hype XD

Seriously my most favorite DoA2 stage of all time. So beautiful it still brings tears to my eyes to this day T-T If Custom Music as in depth as I'm hoping it'd be, I'm totally adding this BGM to fit the backdrop to this beautiful stage <3

That's very likely since he has more grabs than either amount of his hand or leg techniques. And just from looking at a handful of his punches, I have a good feeling if he were to be in a fighter he would be jam packed with a bunch of Just Frame madness. It gets me drooling just thinking about it!

I actually like the quality of the voices since they add to the VF5FS authenticity along side the unique sound effects. I don't think TN will bother crossing over into that territory of changing their voices, even for Jacky.

Another fun fact is that his personality is nearly the carbon copy of Sonic the Hedgehog's. Which is a giant plus in my book : D

In hindsight, that flop could possibly be the cause of the buddha slamming on top of Momiji at just the right moment. A lot seemed to happen at once, so I'm going to remain skeptical about it until the reveal of the next trailer where we can see more tools put to use.
