That stuff gets some people to buy games. It doesn't get people to tourneys.

Other games can get away with it because other games have people showing up to tournaments. Nothing more, nothing less. It won't be an issue for DoA as soon as people start showing up for DoA tournaments.

What would be even more stupid, imo, would be forcing people who don't care about those costumes to continually download updates that take up space on their hard drives. Definitely shouldn't be mandatory, but I agree that we need optional compatibility packs.
