    System Frame Data Explained

that gives 3.37 and not 2.38 in your xls file. it's neither the sum of :2::h+k:(1.88) and :p: (1.29 in the info window but in your file it's 1.09) that gives 3.17.

    System Frame Data Explained

How did you have found the correct distance in the column "Reach" ? For example :2::h+k::P: is 2.38m in your file , but the info window gives 1.49m. I'm sure yours is more correct and i would like to change kokoro"s file too. Obviously it's not the sum of :2::h+k: (1.88) + :2::h+k::P: (1.49)...

    System Frame Data Explained

Ok i understand where my error is. The excel file doesn't give a special notation for :6_:. it's written 6P and 6PP that i converted into :6::P: and :6::P::P:. (they are instead :6::P: and :6_::P::P:) I checked with the info window and with your formula, i have the same result 27-28. Ok now i...

    System Frame Data Explained

@Sly Bass i looked at akira frame data xls sheet, the active column greatly simplify this. but may be i've missed something or may be i've found a typo in this sheet. for akira :6::P: 16(2)24 :6::P::P: 12(2)22 So the addition should be 19 (last real active frame of :6::P:) + 12 (start of...

DOA5U The Official Tier List with Discussion Thread

My post was quite ironic. I know she's quite safe. But that safeness was (and still is) my weakness, because when people talk about the strength of kokoro, safe is often quoted. Because of that i played all my moves without thinking about what's safe or not. for me kokoro is known to be safe so...

DOA5U The Official Tier List with Discussion Thread

The funiest thing about this thread is : if we sum up everybody's comments, 32 characters are in the top 10. Maths and DOA can't go along well. Every character has a hidden card in his sleeve to climb up the ladder. So to reverse the flow, who is the last character? I start the vote on...

    System Frame Data Explained

Now i'm delving into frame data i have more question. I understood the notation for a simple move. How do the frame data work for a string ? is the following correct for the string :4::6::P::P: of Kokoro: :4::6::P: 17(3)21 :4::6::P::P: 14(3)27 Should i assume it will hit at the 17 (+2 hidden)...

DOA5U The Official Tier List with Discussion Thread

Regarding Kokoro/Hayabusa MU, it's interesting also to have a point of view from Busa's players. Brute wrote something about this long time ago. Although i'm not sure he didn't change his mind by now. Indeed that helped me to play better against busa. Busa's players could find also tools to...

    DOA5LR Fighting Game Arts

it does wonder against hayabusa spamming teleport. correctly time, busa will fall just right in front of your Mila's Punch. For :8::8: or :2::2: if it's for SS you may try to configure the SS with another button. such like :2:H+P+K.
