I think you're trying to launch after a wall hit like in DOA3 and 4. It doesn't work like that in DOA5, once your opponent hits the wall he/she is already in "air state" so you just juggle him/her. Example, if you hit the wall with Lee's 66K, just juggle with PP4PP or something else and forget...

With the damage they deal, I think the holds are the weakest in the entire series. Randomly holding won't win you any matches. I've yet to see it happen online. DOA4 used to give the win to the scrub who got more holds right but in DOA5 everyone is forced to actually attack and throw. It's so...

I was trying to use P+K instead of 9K but some mid weight characters seemed to avoid the air grabs. It was probably me just messing up the execution but I preferred to stay with 9K. I'll try P+K again tomorrow in training mode.

It's good to me now especially if I go "nearby" when looking for a match. The shitty part is the amount of Kasumis and Ayanes. I played about 60 matches this morning and 50 of them were against Kasumis with the white dress and sandals.

Tenren, your first combo doesn't work because he can't go into Dragon Stance from a single jab. :7::P:,:2::P:, :P: Doesn't work either because the low jab ends the stun making it impossible to CB. :4::P::P::h4: only works in NH so it's very inconsistent. I found the following CB set-ups...

Tested them. It's kinda nice to see many safe moves on her. EDIT: :6::6::P+K: is always -2 for me, under which situation is +8¿
