Overall the Higher Framerate has made the whole game easier... I can Parry more shit now...
But to be fair I've been taking advantage of Shortcuts to aquire end game resoures....
I had a +15 weapon by the time I encountered the Taurus Demon.
Actually its not the number of Hits...
The NPC Damage Thresholds are just lower... hence it takes one shot to piss them off...
I just did it yesterday.
It took two shots of a plus 10 Uchigatana to piss off Petrus...
And three Composite Bow Shots to piss off The New Londo Sealer.
They're just being consistent with their desire to make us Suffer...
Also I noticed Something else... Backstepping has I-Frames.... not many but they are there.
The Great Grey Wolf Sif.
That fur shaved 20 FPS off my Framerate... damn near got me killed a few times...
Now to be fair... my Rig is a glorified Potato clock... so the problem is likely on my End.
I'm talking about something like Hisako's Wrath (Killer Instinct) or Alex's V-Skill (Street Fighter V)... where if a certain requirement is met... Those Characters can Score Counter Hits on Normal Hit...
I wouldn't want this to be a system wide mechanic like it is in Tekken or Guilty Gear...
Damn... The Hate for Hitomi is Strong here... personally I find her inspiring... even more so than Eliot... just a few tiny tweaks to her Gameplay and I'd be sold....
Unless They bring in Jean Kujo from VF... then Screw Hitomi... I want that Guy !!! :)
Alot of Hitomi's Stuns cause the opponent to stagger out of Reach of some of her other attacks... usually leaving only one or two options to follow up with...
Thats literally my only gripe with her... shes pretty freaking good other wise.
No Back Turned Low Throw like Ayane and Brad Wong... and Bass...
Kinda a deal breaker for me... which is funny because I played Tina for so long...
Also shes mediocre at cashing out from Dangerzones...
And what a fine Evo it was... CrazySteady was on Fire in that one... I've never seen Kwiggle cycle through so many Characters in a single set before... :)
