Well, by buying the new Xbox you'll be able to play Black, 2 and 3: Razor's Edge easily, although, if you only use PC and if you don't want to throw out much money for the new Xfridge to play these games, then its understandable, getting the trilogy on pc wouldn't be too hard anyhow imo and it'd...

Actually, the combination of two would be the perfect way of making all throws techable (if we must), for me at the very least.

It's like, why should I play DOA when there's a game that does pressure almost as well and poking even better than DOA, which is Tekken. Either have Counter Throws have smaller break window and Hi-Counter throws have an even smaller break window, or, just as you said, make throws untechable if...

Couldn't agree more, imagine getting the right read or having enough reaction time that you throw a hold for that juicy Hi-Counter damage only for them to tech the throw and thus make your read or reaction obsolete. Then strikes would be a lot better and people would be playing the stun game...

Might be due to the fact that certain characters, even though they might be disliked, would be a perfect fit in a fighting game. Plus, iirc, this version of Kefla is the manga one, not the anime one and I think that fans liked her manga version more than her anime version.

KH3 took a lot of years to make and it was delayed even further after fans/speedrunners have been invited to an event where they able to test the game+leave feedback. Then the issues that the base game had had been mostly fixed by the developers again after hearing the opinions of the players...

Nah, don't think so. Fighting games are starting to take off when it comes to Esports and people are becoming more and more interested in video games in general as time goes on. Its just, I feel that companies leave developers with little to no time in order to polish their games=a badly rushed...

The Switch version of DMC3SE is/was hilariously broken, which makes me question what in the world are some( or rather, many these days) game developers and game testers doing at times, counting every second of their day at their workplace before they leave instead of actually working or something?

Both voices work well for the respective game's that they voiced Kasumi in: She was like 16-17 from DOA1-4 so she should have a young-ish or younger voice in those games while in DOA5 and probably 6 she's 19 so an older, more mature sounding voice is more suitable imo.

It works the same way in video games, or any sort of japanese manga/anime. Its enough if you look at, heck, every single fighting game for example and you'll rarely find female characters who are above 30 and even if they are they look like 27-28 year olds max.

They're not stopping anytime soon either, BBTag will still be getting new characters and updates in the future, GG Strive will be a thing soon enough, GBFVS is popping, UNICLR was released not too long ago, DBZF Season 3 seems to have positive feedback from the fans. They're definitely running...

some like 2D fighters that are more about fundamentals, poking, whiff punishing, a more patient type of gameplay while some like 2D fighters like Blazblue or Guilty Gear where solid offense, pressuring is more preferred.

Tekken 4 receives praise these days especially when it comes to the story but back then it was considered a bad game in every aspect, thats what Harada said at the very least. About Tekken players not liking DOA, think about it this way: Street Fighter or Samsho are vastly different games...

while in Tekken, they're not too different from one another, only in looks, or they have floor and/or balcony breaks. Even if DOA5's stages look uninteresting and uninspired (for me) for the most part, the different danger zones, falls, cliffhangers, special danger zones make positioning key and...

Thing with DOA is, their stages have always been more interactable than the Tekken stages are in Tekken due to the danger zones and just the fact that they are varied when it comes to design and length starting with DOA2 while Tekken had infinite stages up until 4, and they went to square and...

@inochinagi in the game. The negative feedback was why they decided to make Tekken 5 the way that Tekken 3 felt like and that was the start of the decline in quality when it comes to Tekken's story overall unfortunately.

@inochinagi Jin was strong af, few were able to challenge him. Some things didn't make sense in the game either, for instance, Kazuya: 1, 1, 2 wasn't a natural combo, (p)ewgf needed a counter hit to launch, Lee: out of a ss2 on either normal or counter-hit into mist step had a guaranteed 1,2,4...

@inochinagi There's a reason for that though, Harada said that at the time the feedback was mostly negative, towards the serious tone of the story and the gameplay. Casually, it was a great game. Competitively, my god, super small juggles, uneven stages, which most if not all Tekken players...

They surely have interesting opinions but it also makes sense, they don't see fighting games the way we do. If you think about it on a super basic level, the 2D Street Fighter games are simple, you can move forward, backward, you can duck or jump and you have 6 buttons/attacks. However, the...
