Doesnt ggx use cel shaded models to look 2d anyway? Bb and kof are still using sprites for actual animations so its not as bad.

Aint it the truth. Although, Looney toons faces and proportions aside, using 3d models for 2d sprite movements looks freaking terrible. Same way with mvc3 and mortal kombat. Full models doing twitchy sprite movements that aren't meant to have actual limbs on the full frame animation
