Not true. I love games like Final Fantasy VII, and Shenmue 3. Not God of Casual Combat. I can't believe they managed to make a GoW that looks more linear than the third.

The boss demo on the ONE was an embarrassment. The boss did like two moves the whole time.

And I think Atari is a little too early even for me. I'm more of a SNES and N64 guy where I'm playing games. And there some theatrical movie games I actually like... like MGS that does it right and doesn't feel like a bad Summer movie.

Or Overwatch. A game that knows how to properly balance that stuff without being overly theatrical like Uncharted.

It's all in the same vein of worrying too much about theatrics and not enough about gameplay.
