Seems like you colored a bit too close near the transparent parts, to avoid that, start coloring near the solid color parts first. Coloring near or on the transparent parts right off rip will cause that weird hue effect at the transparent ends!

In reply to your post in the other thread, make sure your texture has an alpha channel. Although I don't use photoshop, I use paint.net for recolors.

If they don't do much else I can see them improving the game over time when it drops, i think X3 had something like that where there wasn't lip synch when it dropped initially but they eventually added it in along with other improvements.
