After seeing how badly scxcr exposed him on how badly he fucked up in the Bloody Roar Retrospective, I'm not a fan, and I'm not gonna bother watching this video. For all I know, this is probably another hot mess of misinformation that puts DOA fans in a bad light.
It goes well with Double Dare music, the squids are adorable, and it may or may not have influenced the creation of Squid Game.
In an age of oversaturated FPS games, this is a refreshing take on shooters.

The only way I can see Ein's return being justified narratively at this point is if he starts off an evil clone by MIST, only to defect with the power of anime bullshit and cabbage courtesy of Hitomi.
I mean, if it worked for Leifang...
I can see Leon being omitted from DOA6 despite being alive... but a playable dead character like Bankotsubo in DOA5 would have been weird at that point, especially after a retcon refreshed our memory that he's been canonically dead since DOA2. Nyotengu made sense as a successor, but I just wish...

To be fair, Sega has been preparing us for this change for months on multiple occasions. And even with that said, you still have a chance to finally play objectively better versions of Sonic 1 and 2 on something other than mobile.

I'm sure if somebody sinks his sister's corpse and her ship further in the depths of the ocean, he'll realize that fighting has meaning, then in true Saint Seiya fashion, awaken his seventh sense and join the roster.
It's likely whatever device M.I.S.T. implanted on Hayate in DOA5 to make him go into stasis whenever Rig is in danger while he's in his "Junior" persona.
