Hate to break it to your friend, but no matter where they go, they're gonna encounter players who mash. It's inevitable. Everyone mashes to some degree. But even if your friend insists going on PC, you won't find many Mai players anyway. MyWickedWayz is good for matchup knowledge though.

Before I answer that, does your friend struggle with the matchup or have a bad mindset when it comes to learning how to deal with matchups in general?

Nowadays it's possible to get a customized, err, life-size doll of your favorite DOA character, to keep it PG. It's expensive, but very possible.
