Gen Fu and Helena are slighty above mid. I doubt most people here can name a combo that works on a middle weight but doesn't on those two. Heavyweight is Rachel/Leon/Bass/Bayman. Superheavyweight is Tengu/Spartan (not 100% on spartan).

All I can say is that regardless of how strong Alpha is or isn't, she isn't winning, she isn't dominating, she isn't hurting the game.

You keep forgetting one thing: Xcal did not make it to GF because of Alpha, he made it there because of Helena and Momiji. Same with Lopedo, he made it to GF with Rachel.

So, today I managed to get Rachel`s FT kick to miss every time, allowing a wake up kick. I backwards teched as soon as I hit the ground, but instead of it missing and leaving Rachel at +frames, I got hit every time, but the actually kick missed. I`m not sure if it was do to netcode or if it is...

I tried to keep every character using their own theme, but Falling Leaves is too damn good, so I gave it to Momiji who has a shit theme. On another note, I am profoundly sad that the DOA1 themes are not in this game except for Bass's, which was the worst of them, though it's still very good.

For myself, vanilla's netcode was absolute trash. DOA5U is much better and I don't get many bad connection, but when I do they are really bad. What is interesting is that after DMZing my 360, I didn't notice any difference from playing without DMZ.
