Depression is not easy. Hope you get passed through it @deathofaninja I remember never ever being depressed about anything at younger times, but eventually I've come to also be hit with it when life responsibilities became a thing.

Yeah usually the term gets pretty loose. Generally a remaster is getting the base game to alter/change the filter, improve scaling, reduce compression, reduce loading etc. Backwards compatible is pretty close though, but some backwards compatible games are also straight ports with forced scaling.

But honestly, I still think FromSoft is to blame for that and their issues with western sales. They don't really advertise Armored Core series like that. Heck, even PlayAsia and billboards in Japan use to promote it. AC was like one of those games that was pretty under the radar in the west...
