I think TN did well by doing what they did with the tag mode. They tried to give both sides what they wanted and i think they succeed quite well and should get props for this. Now it is basically if you like big damage guarantee combo's then go play tag if you want to play the regular DOA go...

Hmm it seems like they kept single mode to be more DOA like, a.k.a not much is guaranteed which i prefer BTW. And they made tag mode to be more Tekken like with guaranteed high damage combos.

Looks like tag mode has a lot of guaranteed stuff in it for people who are into that.

Rank in DOA5 means nothing it is so easy to get your S+ i think i had it in 2 days. In DOA4 whenever you saw an S or SS player you knew they had to be good of course there where some exceptions like in any fighting game but other than that the DOA4 ranking system was solid.
