Sektor & Cyrax has been hinted on Ed Boon's twitter for MKX. There is a "Ketchup & Mustard" gesture from Ed on his twitter. Ketchup & Mustard were their nicknames until they came up with the names when they were new to the series coming into MK3.

I honestly don't expect them to put a lot of old characters back in. I hope some of them return like the ones that I've mentioned, but it seems very slim. Maybe the DLC will be a game-changer to some.

I think it has something to do with making clones in that variation. For ice parries & things like that to focus on defense. I could be wrong though.
