    Hachijo style from Kazumi does take some elements from Aikido even though it's more focused to Karate so that may be it. It could be possible, though it might just be an Aikido thing. Similar to how Bajiquan users must always have an elbow attached to it regardless of the form and game.

    IMHO. If you truly dislike a game for logical reasons, do not continue playing it. Lots of DOA6 players are still going through that phase since they don't play anything else but 6 so they play it out of spite or simply pretend they are having fun with a fake smile lol.
