So I originally said I would never use Leon since I struggle using grapplers (and I still do) but I have to say I've played him more often and he may be the exception.

Their moves may look more flashy but (except for maybe Ryu) I don't see the ninjas being any more "tricky" than other characters with just as many tools. Play against a good Brad and you'll see just how many tricks are up his sleeve. lol

^Yaguar do you know if P4U will ever make it to consoles? I thought I read it was exclusive to Japanese arcades and hope it's not true. :(

The Halloween costumes are meant to be ridiculous and over the top. Gen Fu's was the only one I thought sucked.

True. You're probably right but there's always a possibility that Gen Fu was being sneaky. How did Brad know Eliot was on a journey to begin with? And why was it only after Eliot defeated Brad that Gen Fu popped out from behind a random building where he was apparently hiding during the last...

But then the argument can be made that a knowledgeable Kokoro player will be a good predictor of when the opponent will likely sidestep and can then delay/punish them for it. Kokoro may not be as threatening as she was in 5 but she is by no means a weak character in 5U.

Yeah I like Mila a lot more then I thought I would and her story was decent as well. The story that irritated me the most was Brad's. I'm glad that Eliot is more determined now but making Brad tag along with him was stupid and makes it seem like TN did that just so that they could add another...

It is pretty interesting watching how much these characters have changed. I watched a DOA3 vid of Hitomi's story and couldn't believe it was the same girl from 4 and 5! Then in DOAD I remember Lei Fang being pretty snobby and b*tchy and now her and Hitomi suddenly act like 12 year old girls...

Ha ha yeah I think it stands for ultimate but who knows. XD As far as the proposed tier list goes...that would be very tricky trying to rank the characters into 11 tiers and have the majority agree with it. Hell we can't even agree when there's only 5 tiers. lol.

I think what's also confusing me is Jacky, Pai, and Ayane being so low on their lists. If I had to do it, at this point I would (very) roughly throw the characters into 3 categories (yeah I know there's no context): Category 1: Alpha, Ayane, Christie, Gen Fu, Helena, Jacky (<- watch out for...

I am completely on board with the 270 damage. Faster paced games requiring you to be more mindful of every move, 2 grappler throws having the same impact that Alpha could do with 2 guaranteed combos anyway. It's a step in right direction for sure. Sign me up.

@Rachel the fiend Slayer: Quit trying to start stuff a real chauvinist would most likely not even play a game where half of the cast is female with many having similar/greater abilities then the males.
