(sighs) Damn it Awesmic you always get me! I should have learned the first time when you said there was leaked info that Tengu and Miyako data were found on the disc. lol
I've just been going into training and accepting solo throwdown challenges. It's been working really well and I usually only have to wait 30 sec - 1 min.
Some really nice fights between ScattereDreams and Rikuto. Like DontForkWitMe said, 3kp3kp is not very helpful against heavyweights. 0:11 (first vid) is a good example of a failed 3p + followup even when he had Rikuto against a wall (although that added bound is gold. :))
You can't really predict these kinds of things. Once you've reached tournament level the normal rules get thrown out the window and it's not so much the character but rather the player. Who would have thought that the last tournament final round would be between Bayman and Helena, the former of...
Not a step back, it just has changed the strategy for many characters. However if you were ever considering maining a heavy-weight character, now is the time to do it.
Don't know about 2 or 3 but DOA 4 had a 4-point hold for sure. It's better that way as it prevents the counter spammers and it lets moves like Eliot's new 4K shine. :D
So you're saying that rather than add a character who has his own unique moveset and who was in DOA2, DOAU, DOA4, and DOAD and has a decent sized fan base...
You instead want to add a character that you saw in the game for maybe less than 5 seconds and give her Kokoro and Akira's moveset...
KwonJigglypuff there's actually a video of her fighting in that outfit (it's somewhere on youtube couldn't find it but I think I saw someone post it on FSD)
Have to say really loving ultimate it is definitely the complete version of what vanilla should have been. :)
I'm going to throw this crazy/absurd/wtf idea out there (but like I said before Alpha-152 isn't the only character who is unbalanced imo):
Limit the use of Alpha to 1 set (regardless of if it wins or loses). It's sort of a middle ground to the issue. She can still be used competitively but...
