It fucks it up to be blunt. Easiest example I can give is that on casual settings if you try to buffer in a move and then try to free-cancel a string because you see you're about to get held or crushed, a random ass counter will come out and you'll just sit there looking like a moronic punching bag.

That's like the auto-jump option in UMvC3. Sometimes having an option isn't really an option at all. More like, "Do you want to have an 'OH SHIT! Back to character select!' moment."

The double tap option should NOT be the standard. It was fine in the Alpha.

DoA has consistently had an easy controls option in the games. Not new to the series at all. If you played the Alpha and didn't notice an issue then you'll be fine because that was casual mode.

If you look at how much time is remaining before launch, there's next to no way there can be nine more characters. Unless there are some bonus characters that are just swaps like Shiden or Kasumi Alpha. That's the only way I can see that.
