I would argue that your point isn't completely valid. DOA is one of the few of 3D fighters in totality to be daring enough to actually incorporate cut scenes to the magnitude that they have whether it be a segment change, after a fight or CGI endings. DOA5 and DOA6 offered plenty of filler cut...
