I completely disagree. I love DOAs story mode, maybe you don't like it, but I do! DOA needs a story mode. It's actually a big advantage they have over a lot of fighters and that it's in 3D. I go back and watch the CGI endings every year that's how close I am to the characters of this franchise...

I'll respond to the now deleted thread: Yes, Koei was good for Tecmo.

It was never a live service game and Team NINJA is a much smaller team than other fighting devs that can afford to do million-dollar tournaments. Also, you can blame deals with Sony. Sony wants every game to be a third person action title and DOA doesn't fall in line with that.
