Donovan didn't have a mullet lol. I believe Bass still outgrew his hair pass his shoulders that time. Bass' hair in 4/5 is more similar to Donovan actually. It's slick but not all the way down to the ends.

It may be possible that he took Genra's real mask and that Ayane fought Genra with an exact replica of the original mask but she didn't noticed it was a fake.

That mask has always raised a question to me. If Ayane truly did killed Genra and has his mask (which is seen as part of her outfit in her DOA4 C1/DOA5 C2), why does Donovan has one as well?
