This was also the case of KOFXIII where characters are more animated in rotoscoped 3D. There's something intriguing with KOFXIII's graphical style that's visually appealing to my eyes, compared to general models at present time and animation because they can look wonky at times.

This might be weird, I actually use to play 3rd Strike Online edition religiously back on the PS3, way before DOA5. For some reason I do favor more of the old style of animation (like Alpha series anime comparison) or Cel types. Even Pixel sprites/Sprites. I never played SFIV but I had a blast...

The developers of FFXIV for example, stated that you shouldn't invest too much money and time in it if you don't want to, play for fun. However Korean MMOs are the opposite of that personality. They want you to commit like it's a job for what you want to get.
