Me personally, I love DOA just as everyone else, but honestly, whether the game comes out be "competitive" or just "entertainment" won't hurt the purchase of me buying DOA5. I do want the game to be taken serious like the points Rikuto and others are making, but shit, it's been "many" years...

Sypha, I still feel it's too early to tell, Team Ninja is getting insight from our Community to help with the process of DOA5 once NG3 has been released. So there's still hope for a more "competitive" DOA, it's up to Team Ninja to take our much needed advice.

That's a hard feat but I most certainly concur.

Jefffcore, of course the Critical Stun state will have be shorten cause otherwise it'll further trash the System and Idea of getting rid of Counters in Critical Stun as a whole. A good set of tweaks can work wonders.

Putting QTE's in DOA5 could go very bad, makes me feel like I'm playing a Naruto or Dragon Ball Z game, which isn't bad, but not taken serious in most eyes of the competitive and although I'm in the middle of that, I would hate if Team Ninja fucks this up. We've been wanting a DOA for yrs now...

That's a valid point Berzerk, I pretty much feel if a player is getting punished and throws out the wrong counter, they should no longer be able to counter again til the situation is set back to neutral.
