    I don't care for rank matches either. But at least it has a purpose other than bragging rights. It's an optional way to earn in-game currency if you're feeling lucky and wanna fool around in it once in a blue moon.

    I'm more concerned about why Genra WILLINGLY defected from the Mugen Tenshin like Raidou did in the retconned story to begin with. The original story suggested no such thing, even going so far as to suggest he was also kidnapped by DOATEC... and it still baffles me to this day.
