Honestly, I'm ok with DOA not being overhyped, since most overhyped fighting games aren't that great or even worse, they are mediocre or straight up garbage. Look at Street Fighter 5 and Marvel vs Capcom Infinite for instance. One of the two games got overhyped to the point where its dead now.
