Yes, they can scare a player more since your movement options are limited in a 2D fighter compared to a 3D one.

The older games had better themes than the ones in the newer Mortal Kombats, that's true and they were far more iconic. Can we get Mick Gordon to make the music for one of the games in the future? His style might not be suitable for Mortal Kombat but I'd still like him to take a shot at it.
