    Combos in DOA 5 are actually visually fun to watch though. The physics are cool. With MVC its more like watching the same three attacks 20 times in a row with sometimes a super thrown in there.

    We're willing to deal with an opponent having the chance to counter out of stun. We're not willing to deal with our opponent having multiple chances to counter out of stun. That, in my mind, breaks the game yes. Remember the thread I posted about the actual odds of holding out of threshold...

    It isn't excessive at all. In fact it doesn't even decrease your odds of being correct for most of the cast. If your character only has two good launching options or two good stun extenders, your opponent will only be looking for those two options regardless of how many points the hold system...

    If DOA 5 does end up being a good game, one can only hope that it's distracting enough that people can take their frustrations out on the game itself and not the message boards. I think this is honestly the real underlying issue with people.

    I actually don't like that DOA 3 promotional art as far as box designs go. Nothing "jumps out" at you. It has no clear center piece to focus on as Ayane is just too translucent to fulfill that role. Box art has to look cool, but it also has to entice a complete stranger into checking it out...
