    Personally I don't think you should be able to hold in stun until the recovery frames of the attack that hit you expire to avoid the just-frame hold situations if you free canceled the string.

    I expected it for the stages. On average, GG hasn't really wowed me on stage design. In GGXrd they baked the lighting in the stages so the only dynamic lighting is on the characters. The characters can have upwards of 10 to 15 lights around any given frame of animation.

    Already stated it: As for why they didn't take one of their franchise pillar game series into Cel Shading, I imagine it has something to do with all of the cel-shaded games you just displayed not selling well. Also, each of those games were the first in their franchise.
