DOA5 Is "Not Looking to be a Technical Fighter"

it has true sidestepping. True'r then DOA's (not counting 3.1), since it actually evades shit. and all it means is, my fingers are used to sidestepping one way, the way that every single other game is existence does it, and tekken forces me to do it a different way. So, I end up jumping all the...

DOA5 Is "Not Looking to be a Technical Fighter"

Aptitude, maybe. But if you're calling anything other than DOA 3 a good game when comparing it to something like tekken, you're a damn liar. I suck ass at tekken, but i'd play it any day of the week over doa 4. And really, the only thing that kills me at tekken is the movement. It's a good...

So you're over complicating the input? You realize you can just keep rotating and mashing throw with a 0% chance of failure, right?

Not if you're talking about anything other than DOA 3.

They won't do that. It makes absolutely zero sense from a business standpoint. Nor does it make sense from an asset/development standpoint.

That's how grapplers are supposed to work.... Keeps a different, unique kind of pressure on the opponent. Current team ninja likely has no idea how to even make a fighting game though. Telling them to create more situations like that would probably just result in some hilariously useless moves.

I lol'd. Also, you asking for grapplers to have better throws and better throw situations... well, it's a good request, if kind of a blanket one. I'm not certain they would get anything out of that. Then again, I'm not even certain they are paying attention to twitter right now. Seems our...

DOA5 Is "Not Looking to be a Technical Fighter"

No one will come until DOA 5. You can say fuck DOA 5, but thats the truth and we all know it. I thought this was obvious for years now, but certain people like to crucify themselves at NEC every year. /shrug Sorwah may be comfortable playing the game with only a handful of souls in the world...

DOA5 Is "Not Looking to be a Technical Fighter"

I lol'd. Well the only way DOA 5 can be worse than it is is if they allow you to counter in mid-air. I think even that is a little too stupid for them though. So yea. Cautious optimism. Very cautious optimism.

DOA5 Is "Not Looking to be a Technical Fighter"

Ah true, I did forget that one thing. I don't believe she has anything else guaranteed on the ground though. Nor does anyone, provided the person techs. But I digress, it's a road ive explored in the past and it leads only to disappointment.

DOA5 Is "Not Looking to be a Technical Fighter"

Doa 4 has.... -- No frame advantage on block, except for one character and it's at the end of a string that can be ducked. It's incredibly difficult to even conceive of a strategy in a fight because EVERYTHING IS MINUS. -- No sidestepping evasion, apart from a few specific sidestep attacks...

DOA5 Is "Not Looking to be a Technical Fighter"

Most of them aren't "depressed" I guess, but they aren't happy either. Affects me more than most, since I actually tried taking DOA 4 and its community to a higher level, once upon a time. Trying to take rock paper scissors to high level is depressing. Seeing it refuse to change from rock...
