Yeah any main story enjoyers out there probably would of dropped the game after like 5 missions lol so the presentation what was rough. You'd have to be either some serious Final Fantasy fan to deal with it, memeing to stick with the game, or in it for the fun. Game is definitely 100% fun though...

@Camel with 2 thumbs @Force_of_Nature True yeah. For me personally, I think it was mostly on how the game was presented. Things just skipping from here to there. One minute you are at a town, the next minute you are in a cave, and then the last minute you get put into some unexplainable...

Other downside is also probably the time of release because of Elden Ring eating up every possible chance of having a massive community playing that over it. Which is understandable given that Elden Ring is also fun.

Does it also have the issues where certain grooves fit better for certain characters? most of CvS2's issues revolve from that where even though some grooves were better than others, some grooves were also not very useful with specific characters based on their movekit or combo structure etc.
