Oh, correction, I forgot about Xbox Gamepass. That let's you play some Xbox BC games on PC. Not the same at all as getting ported to steam, but I thought I should mention it. If it'll ever include the DOAs is anyone's guess though. It doesn't even have NG Black yet, though it does have just...
Would be nice, but unfortunately, when it comes to any hopes of this, what we just got was thanks pretty much to MS's efforts, not TN's or KT's. And afaik there hasn't been any Xbox BC game ported to PC before.
Wow, so maybe I wasn't crazy that one time in DOA2H I saw an extra bit in the Helena-Ein Epsilon scene... man, I was so stunned I didn't even pay attention to what was said. I posted about it on FSD but no one responded about knowing about it.
I just miss all the moves Tina and Lisa have in DOA5 and especially 6. I honestly never really cared for being able to do 20 hit juggle combos, even though DOA5 did that style of gameplay very well.
Oh... thanks. Which characters' voice actresses were there, btw? I thought I saw someone mention Yuko Nagashima was gonna be a guest on the stream, but I didn't find anything like that. I expected only the newer character VAs would be there...
What makes everyone say Tina is getting into this? I tried looking for some indication in the vid but I could only take so much before I had to escape... lol. My god, does anyone else think the music in this game is horrible? (I guess it was worth it to see even the Japanese chat saying...
I haven't seen anyone post about it here yet, so I might as well: apparently you can download DOA3.1 or DOA3.2 by switching to a Japanese or European account, respectively, and putting in your DOA3 disc.
Sad that Microsoft is doing more for DOA than KT is right now... and on top of that, around the 25th anniversary of the series.
With DOA 1 - 6, on top of Ninja Gaiden Black and NG2 (as well as the Sigma version now), both Enhanced, Xbox somehow still remains the best platform for Team Ninja...
A version of every game from the whole DOA series (excluding DOAX), is available on one platform now. And Timesplitters too!
Well, at least something happened for DOA's 25th... lol. Looks like I'm gonna be playing through them all again the next few days, in delicious 1920p.
It's too bad...
So, Tencent didn't just pick up Soleil, but Valhalla too... got them working on a new MMO called Project EDO :/

Easy to forget this was a series that even managed to get a Hollywood movie. I'm sorry I missed out on that hype since I was avoiding Xbox for nearly a decade, but I'm glad to have been there for DOAD's and DOA5's hype.
I feel like the community is more dead now than the Great DOA Drought...
That's what it looks like. The 90s cartoon did end in 97, after all... but it just seems so weird that they'd be doing this, it's hard to believe, lol. Why name it 97? They expect newbies to binge the whole old series and then start watching the new eps? Fine by me, but still hard to believe...
