    It's too early to say it'll bank money. By the logic going on, they might as well just add volleyball, casino and so on in the standard game. But it does give people a safe haven without being bashed on for playing tag if TN went their way to make a game out of it.

    I believe they'd have time to balance it if it's done in it's own game. They wouldn't have time to properly balance it on the standard considering move properties have to be changed. As well as most of the moves and refloats/relaunchers was just directly ported to tag with no consequences...

    Exactly. Tag might as well be it's own thing in it's own game. That way, it can be taken serious as well as having two games at the events instead of just the standard one. There's no real reason to legitimately complain about tag within the online setting eating up lobby resource anymore...

    The paywall is the heavy obstacle from companies taking advantage of such things unfortunately yeah. It's messed up, but it kinda does make sense. If an MMO is pay to win, chances are the player's enjoyable experience will be temporary and may end up shelling more money than they have to.

    Quite a huge chunk of mobile games are like this. The same could be said for certain MMOs. Nioh is a bit of this too despite the player still able to complete the game without digging into RNG related items, but the fun stuff comes from those items unfortunately, which is relying on luck.
