I disagree... I've played through 1-3 and own the original carts... Momiji has much more presence in the series. Irene is an old enigma that won't die. Though she did survive a few insane situations. Being slaughtered by Ashtar and surviving is her greatest accomplishment.

She's flawless, but she's about as much of a fighter as Niki. I wouldn't mind seeing her, but how many more bitches do we need in this game? I want men.

I don't really see the point of making Niki a fighter; she's always been a humorous character that I think should remain as just a part of the story.
