Yeah, most of these change look like changes for changes sake. Though I am curious why they bothered boosting the damage on her fifth taunt.

Having played Mr. Wah (with pre-nerfed Rachel no less) I was able to see pretty much everything he's talking about regarding the matchup in action. It's not a fun matchup for Rachel to play and it certainly not even close to being even or in her favor.

Isn't that pretty much what the core fighters was? One big download and then pay to unlock the individual items.

To me there's a very simple explanation for this phenomenon. Namely that the "totally maining [new character]" crowd are used to winning with their "old" main and can't handle the growing pains of learning a new character so such efforts don't last for long enough to gain proficiency.

Are we looking at the same frame data?!? Her numbers are terrible. She has ~2 moves that are actually positive on block. All but two of her guard breaks are (for some reason) are negative. I don't know about you but to me that looks like pretty shitty frame-advantage across the board.

If we're talking strictly about damage then this isn't quit accurate. A full follow-up to 41236T will only do less damage than 4T on counter or hi-counter vs. super heavyweights (i.e. when you use 9P T... instead of 6PP T...). While Viper Twist looks really cool I'm not sure how viable it is...
