Is :8::p: a hard knockdown out of juggle?

    Bayman Okizeme Tactics

Yes, that's what I'm talking about in the first post when I say 'hard knockdown'. :p::k::k:, :k::k:, :6::p::p::k:, :4::k:, :p+k: out of a stun (but not a juggle), :9::p: and :9::p::p:, and :3::k: (out of a juggle) are all hard knockdowns. I used to use them to get into his :2::h+p: grounded...

You say you could hold it; did you do it by holding at the exact right time, or can you hold out of the forcetech rising animation? Or can you buffer holds to that degree?

    Bayman Okizeme Tactics

Were you hitting them while they were down, or stunned? The only move I can think of that would lead to what you've described is :h+k: on stun, or :6::p::k: in a similar situation.

    Bayman Q/A

:9::P: : crushes low in the middle frames, but can still be hit low before the active frames so you have to be careful :4::p+k: : crushes high in the middle frames, can still he hit high before reaching the crush frames :1::P: : crushes high from frame one, hits low. Amazing move. :2::h+k: ...

    Bayman Okizeme Tactics

The point behind a force tech is that you aren't giving your opponent time to get up (in the case of a hard knockdown, like :4::k:), or they've decided not to tech. A force tech throws your opponent off, because they don't get to choose when they get up or use a wakeup kick, and also gives you...

...I can't believe I missed that. Well, at least I'm reasonably sure I went to the trouble of figuring it out before that thread popped up, so I don't have to feel TOO stupid.

    Bayman Okizeme Tactics

I've read every thread on this sub-board, and I had to figure out stun->:236::p:, :3::k::3::p+k::h+p: myself... Did I just miss his outlining it? I saw a set of combos for varying weights, but...

So :1::k: is a reset of the hard knockdown, or what? Because it's definitely not a forced tech.

    Dead or Alive 5 - Known Bugs/Glitches

Hate to say it, but that one isn't a glitch. You're playing the 360 version, right? It got hacked within two weeks of coming out. They're not disconnecting, they're cheating.

I don't see :4::p+k: working, but :214::p: is solid (putting you in range for all of his backturned shenanigans), and I can't believe I didn't think of :8::P: myself.

    Bayman Okizeme Tactics

A lot of the time you'll just want to get a quick :2::h+p: after your hard knockdown, but that pretty much just leaves everything back at neutral. If you want to keep the pressure on (or frazzle an opponent used to eating a ground throw after a hard knockdown), it's time for some force techs...

    Bayman's Expert Holds

I mostly only use them when a person is repeating a string (though about half the time I read the move right, but misjudge what level it is...) or doing a wakeup kick.

Three strikes and you're out. (Quick Bayman CB guide)

Here's the frame advantage of some of his force techs: :2::h+k: = +12, but quite a distance away :p+k: = +20, goes into DDT quite nicely, though they can of course duck it. :1::k: = +25, but puts them out of DDT range. :4::k: = +20, at the very edge of DDT range. :1::p: = +15, same range as...

    Bayman Vs Gen tips?

On the subject of holds, what should I do after Bayman's high and mid parries? Kicks give him +10, but I don't know what will reach that far fast enough, and punches are only +6.

    Bayman Q/A

I get that, it's just a bit annoying; I never thought to actually check for something like that, and up until now everybody I landed the first two hits on took the third too. Suddenly everybody's ducking the third hit, and it's a bit aggravating to think you know a character and then find out...

    Bayman Q/A

So do any other characters in this game have a :P::P::P: string that the opponent can just fucking duck under while being hit, or is that something they reserved for screwing over Bayman?
