About DOA5 Last Round's DLC

Will PS3 owners of Last Round be able to continue getting future DLC? Will we eventually be able to purchase the costume DLC that the pre-order editions provide?

The video of yesterday showned Helena's new swimsuit for the PS3 version, so I suppose that at least the current DLC should be made available for the owners of the old generation. By the way TN stated that they are not sure (but so far they are still checking and haven't definitely denied) of the possibility to include the new DLC even on Ps3 and Xbox 360, so there is a chance that they couldn't get more outfits in future.

EDIT: Also, Honoka's debut pack is already confirmed to be available for Xbox 360 (and so old gen).

I think it would be incredibly foolish to drop DLC support for DOA on last-gen consoles to be honest. There are way too many supporters and fans that still have the games on PS3/Xbox360 instead of the current-gen consoles.

I don't think you understand. I'm sure they don't want to stop supporting last-gen, but they are literally approaching the cap-off point for the maximum amount of DLC allowed on last-gen consoles. They did say they were almost there (meaning not there yet), so we'll likely see a few more pieces of DLC on last-gen, but once they hit that cap, there's nothing they can do about it.

I understand what you're saying, but what reason is there to have a cap? I get that it won't last a long time, and I'm not expecting that, but I don't plan on getting a PS4 just so I can keep getting content from DOA5LR. That's why I was at least hoping that we will get the pre-order DLC as purchasable DLC eventually and some other future ones down the road as well.

The cap is a limit for DLC items on the platform side, not for the game. MS and Sony likely didn't plan for that many and it's not a simple thing to go in and change a limit like that. Kind of like the friends list capacity situation from last gen on Xbox.
