Banned costumes

I'm not quite sure if this is the best place to post this, but there's so many false information going around, so I thought I'd compile the banned costumes with images based on the list that was posted in the Tournament Standard Rules thread.

It really is. quite a few of them are quite innocuous compared to some of the main costumes.

I don't agree with the ban either, but there's a link going around with images that says even the ninja costumes and maid ones are banned, so I thought I'd compile them myself based on the official list.

I think the "banned" Honoka one is actually her yellow bikini, which shows up as Costume 7 if you have that pack. Since I don't agree with the ban at all I'll start using her wearing that all the time.

Thanks for the recapitulation Corza, this is pretty useful for avoiding further misunderstandings; by the way I'm pretty sure that Honoka got banned her swimsuit from the new challengers pack: to ban her Santa outfit wouldn't make sense. EDIT: @TRI Mike ninja'd me XD

This list make already more sense, showing that there is at least a common criteria behind the ban (outfits showing visibly nude skin), however remain always outfits that even owning such elements are still aside from the ban:

I'm not for this soft-ban (or at least I'm still not so sure that it will keep good consequences in itself), but if you want create a coherent rule I believe that you should add even the outfits over. But this premising that playing with Jann Lee wearing his "fighter" outfit, or with any of the girls in a covered bunny or nurse outfit, will not give to the streaming the image of a not sexy game if someone is looking for this impression during the match.

Tina's red wrestling outfit is banned!?!? Rachel's Tecmo Bowl outfit... banned? Two of my favorite outfits... I get the Venus... whatever, but when you're banning overalls that begins to feel an awful lot like church... I don't like church.

Thanks for the feedback, fixing Honoka's costume now. I was doing this on autopilot and DOAwiki said C7 was the christmas one.

Yeah this ban is dumb as shit. Also why are no guys on it? Ryu can wear a mummy outfit but Momiji and Mila can't? They can wear sexy Halloween outfits and swim trunks/speedos but god forbid a female has a swimsuit?

Also many people worked hard on their contest costumes that got in the game and they are banning those?

This ban is fucking dumb! Some of the swimsuits don't even look too sexual! And the costumes that show slight under boob are banned, despite the girls being covered! What in the actual fuck?!

A lot of those outfits aren't even that sexualized, wtf? And how is it that literally every female gets a banned outfit (where majority of outfits aren't even that sexual looking) yet the guys show a lot as well in outfits they wear and those don't get banned? Double standards much?

This rule is so stupid and asinine.

One TO is choosing to limit costume selection for streams only. Step off the soap box. Most of the complaining is coming from players that aren't ever going to a tournament anyway. Let it go or send a PM to Hubbs. This doesn't need a thread.
