It kinda sucks that you have to decide if you want to pre order with either Gamestop or Amazon depending on which set you want. I really want the set that includes Ayane, but I don't want to pre order from Amazon. Does anyone know if both sets will be available later on for download?

it's rather clear to be honest....
The Collector Edition comes with it's own exclusive set of swimsuits for the female cast(teased already with Kasumi's polka-dot swimsuit.
The pre-order ones are for specific female characters and themes(angle/devil).

I dont know but if you want both just pre order both and return one. Normally pre order bonuses are always sold again but who knows.

I find it hard to believe.
Look at the NG3 CE. You didn't have to choose whether you wanted Haya/Hitomi or Ayane/Hayate for the premium demo. You got all of them. Although its not mentioned, I bet its the same deal here.

I hope your right. But im still deciding whether i want the CE or not. I really dont care for the other stuff other than the costumes and not because its bathing suits. I just like having everything for a game normally.

I feel ya. If the soundtrack is something more than stage music (has character themes e.g.), then I'd love to have it. Besides, with an $80 price tag, you can't beat it. I'm speaking as a fan who likes collecting, anyway lol

There are actually two sets of bikinis. 1) Bunnies (Angels for Gamestop, Devils for Amazon) and 2) Normal bikinis (pink one in Kasumi picture). The Bunny swimsuits are PRE-ORDER BONUSES. No matter what version of the game you get or which consoles. The Collector's edition comes with the normal bikinis, like the pink one.
So for example, if you pre-order a Collector's Edition you'll be getting the white bunny swimsuits for Kasumi, Leifang and Hitomi plus the normal bikinis for ALL THE GIRLS (except Sarah and maybe Pai). AND if you pre-order the normal edition from Amazon (Like I did) you'll be getting the black bunny swimsuits for Ayane, Tina and Christie and NO NORMAL BIKINIS.

I think Sarah and Pai will also get bikins. Probably their Virtua Fighter ones. The collector's edition said there will be 12 bikinis and there are 12 girls.

the collectors edition of dead or alive 5 has it's own unique premium swimsuits. did you get that?
the pre order swimsuits are not the same as the collectors editions swimsuits.
the pre order swimsuits are exclusive to certain outlets and are not for each female fighter like the collectors editions swimsuits.
the pre order swimsuits are separated into two packs...devil and angel.
i hope this is very clear now, you dont get both pre order swimsuit packs, you get one set from your retailer, the collectors edition if pre ordered from gamestop will come with the collectors edition premium content and the DOA angels swimsuit pack....thats pretty much it.

You weren't even direct about which pre-order bonus you were talking about. Regular or CE. From what little you'd written, I wasn't sure if there was even a pre-order bonus for CE.
