Character likenesses taken from real people?

There was a somewhat similar thread from years ago, but I've always wondered if Team Ninja actually based Kasumi's appearance on anyone REAL. I haven't found any evidence yet, although the same can't be said for Momiji (see below)

If you know any artist/actor/model close enough to being real life Kasumi, please share her name and image.

(Momiji looks too much like Saori Hara, for instance)

Yes, Mi Yeon... a lot like Kasumi. About the right age, too.

Why is Kasumi so distinctly Korean-looking? Interesting design choice by a Japanese studio making a Japanese character.
