DOA5LR Confused??

I have DOA5LR on my ps3 and it was originally doa5ultimate which i upgraded to doa5lr. However, iv seen that there are stages such as the electric floor one and certain costumes i cannot find for characters on my game. Is this due to it being a ps3, or the fact that its a dlc i cant find? Pls help

It's because it's the ps3 version. Older console versions lack certain features that the ps4/xbone versions have (such as stages)

The PS3 and Xbox 360 versions lacks the new stages (Danger Zone, Crimson, Fireworks, new stage 2016), the new Soft Engine, new hairstyles, and customization menu in the character select screen.

Mind you that today we all get a new update about game balance tweak, except PS3,X360, and (maybe) PC.

Meanwhile, paid DLC are for everyone and released on time. Yep. Talking about 'memory limitation'.

Well to be fair, the update was over 700MB. Costume packs and catalogs are usually smaller in size, usually 100MB+ or so and costumes themselves are 100KB I believe.

What about the Marie Rose: Angelic Maid costume? Is that ps4 and xbox1 exclusive as well? Even though its only a costume...

I think that's part of Season Pass exclusive, right??

Usually will be optimized and have smaller file size for older gens. That's how it works IF they want to cater to both sides, as such things are already been practiced by other companies.

Costume packs in PS4 should be bigger in file size than PS3 due to higher polygon count in the mesh and higher textures resolution.

That and Honokas Super Secret costume are season pass exclusive which in turn are exclusive to the PS4/XB1 versions of the game.

I.e. PS4/XB1 versions are the best versions since they get all the costumes and stages and extras like clothes tearing in certain dlc packs like Senran Kagura and Deception.

Also, make sure you have all 14 LR catalogues which could also be a reason why some costumes may be missing.
