This. 5 characters alone should not be enough to justify an "ultimate" rerelease. Considering the updates like this for other fighters *coughexceptforcontinuumshiftextendcough* have been at least two times bigger than this, I'd be dumbfounded if TN stopped announcing more characters when there's so much more time for more characters to be announced. Never seen any company blab out the entire cast three months away from release XD
I was thinking from a competitive standpoint between companies that develop fighters. The FGC practically gets spoiled by an ungodly amount of upgrades for rereleases, most notably in SSFIV's and UMVC3's cases. This may be more than what DoA2U has to offer, but from how I see it in this day and age some consumers might not find this much content as incentive enough for a second purchase rebalanced or not.
Yeah, it was a full remake that was completely redone and improved in every aspect. This is barely an expansion. I hope there's way more content in the final release than what we've seen. Like... at least a dozen more stages.
the costumes alone are probably worth the $40 had they been released as DLC lol. plus a few packs are included.
