Some of the clips in that trailer looked like they were from Story Mode as they didn't look like intro's or win poses. Perhaps story mode has been fleshed out?

The thought hadn't occurred to me since no one in the trailer had any of those stiff Family Guy-esque poses that's been riddled throughout almost every cutscene. It would be a miracle if they managed to find the time to redo some of the scenes.

Which reminds me, the final boss stage needs to be playable this time, flames and all. They really skipped out on a really exciting stage tier for the Regular Lab.

OH shit! Leon is looking rugged, old, and angry which is exactly how he should be.

from the short clip he has a launcher throw that ground bounces and can lead to his air grab which doesn't have the ridiculous height requirements from DOA4 anymore. it also looks like he can choose which direction he can throw them afterwards, which is a damn good buff.

And DAAAAAAMN at his powerblow, its everything i hoped it would be. can't wait to discover all the beastly shit he'll be capable of.

also dat black tanktop with the shades is back WOOOO!

I've seen just now the trailer.. it was amazing to see so much requests sent to TN actually become true, my hype is at the stars!

The efforts from Team Ninja to look for appealing the fans is something that needs to be recognized

Leon looks frickin awesome. I was never really a user of him in the past but he looks great this time around. New stages look pretty good, I particularly like the ship stage.

Anyways here's what I got from the trailer

All the new costumes and looks really freshen things up, and power launcher looks interesting. I'm sure a couple will have some nasty guaranteed set ups.

Rachel looks amazing btw, hope she has her alt hair styles. Looks like Pai has one of her customization looks. Very nice.

Leon is old but the thing make sense: after Gen-Fu and Bass, he is the oldest character in the roster.

Continuing to talk about appearences, I have also to say that I like how Pai seems much more similar to her VF render, but I absolutely love her model on DoA5: however I wait to see better her DoA5U model before to give a definitive judgement about my favourite one. On the contrary, nothing to say about Rachel's render model, really a good work.

The only negative point is the lack of Tengu... between all the old characters or the potential ones like Irene, I think that who needs majorly to have a seat in DoA5U (and in the rest of the series), is just him imo.

I personally welcome Rachel with open arms. I'm very interested in playing her. Leon looks incredible, his new looks suits him perfectly. We have to remember that he's actually 40+ so giving him a young appearance like before was incorrect. His Power Blow and moves in general looks very cool. It's good to have him back. Fang's DOA3 ending costume will make me play the fuck out of her again and Jann's white suit is something I missed too.

Power Launchers look nice and if the LIGHT OF THE WORLD is good we'll probably see some cool and positive system changes. I'm really hyped.
