Dead Or Alive Last Round DLC Transfer issues

Anyone else having trouble transfering thier DLC from Xbox 360 to Xbox one. No only did it delete everything i did on ultimate but it also told me to upload my save data so i can use it on xbox one. I go over there after buying the full game, and all the outfits i bought are blocked out. What do i do

So yeah I gather it updated my ultimate to Last Round. Great Awesome but now i lost my Titles All the locked costumes are gone

thats the risk of early adoption with anything unfortunately. honestly the only thing i would worry about is costumes you paid money for and even if those are gone TN can reimburse those. just sit tight they're getting a lot of complainants right now so they're likley going to try and fix things soon

Yep. Tonight I booted up my DOA5 Ultimate disc (Xbox 360) in preparation for the save transfer to XB1 and it title-updated itself to Last Round with no problem. But now that it updated to LR, all the costumes and titles I unlocked on DOA5/Ultimate aren't being acknowledged. It's like I totally started fresh even though I checked my 360's storage and it looks like my data is still there safe and sound. I'm reluctant to upload my "save" to their servers to transfer because MAYBE it'll just have my stuff unlocked on the XB1 version after the transfer, but I'm not keen on taking that bet and possibly losing right now.

Who/what told you to delete your Ultimate data? That's the one thing you weren't supposed to do. You're supposed to play the 360 version after the latest patch and choose the Upload Data option. (Go to Options and press X) Then start up Last Round on X1 with no save file and it will ask if you want to download your uploaded 360 save. If you had already booted up the game on X1 before doing this, you will need to delete your X1 save.

As far as the DLC is concerned, there is no automatic transfer. All the DLC you purchased on Xbox360 will show up in the X1 store as already owned, and you will need manually redownload every DLC onto your X1. I don't know what this process is like on X1, but I had literally EVERY DLC bought on PS3 and it was a pain in the ass to manually re-download EVERY costume on PS4. Took like 2 hours. And I'm still not done because some DLC I bought on PS3 is not showing up as already owned on PS4. (Tina's Nurse oufit, and all the Hot Getaway outfits)

TN have just posted a series of tweets in Japanese which, from relying completely on Google Translate, I can sort of determine states that there is a workaround to recovering your messed up save data which involves making sure certain costume catalogs are installed. I have no knowledge of Japanese though, so maybe someone who does could shed more light on this than me?

Seems to be a bit clearer in that these are steps to avoid messing up your save data in the first place, not recovering it once it already has been messed up.

...so because this warning that was so urgent wasn't posted until the day AFTER the game was released, my data is just gone and possibly unrecoverable? Because I did something as CRAZY as pressing the "Store" button on the main menu of the game itself after it told me I needed to download some of those catalogs? I'm not even sure what to say. I guess I'm starting from scratch unless they find a way to recover data lost by this crap.

Meanwhile on the UK XB1 Store all my Full Set DLCs are still coming up to purchase, I've only been able to download DLC I bought singularly

Well, that is just great. Before I sound like another angry internet idiot who likes to complain, let me clarify something. I have been playing DOA since 3 and its release on XBOX in 2002. Since then I have bought ever game since and any DLC released for the games. I own every piece of DLC for 5/ulitmate which cost hundreds, I don't have to tell you guys that though.

I feel I have a right to be hurt/shocked/angry/betrayed. I feel all those things right now. I have spent 600 almost 700 hours into just ultimate alone the most of any game for me, ever. To lose everything because I followed their instructions to the T makes me so upset and asking why didn't they test for this. My paid DLC still isn't FREE on the Xbox One store yet so that's icing on this cake too. Anyways to close this off this is what I have to say. There are two things they can do for me a loyal customer and anyone else this has happened too. Number one they can release a patch that somehow retrieves my save (not likely) Or number two, they can release a patch that unlocks all the in-game costumes, System voices, OMG mode, Titles, and everything else I spent weeks grinding out. That would, for the most part, fix this mess.

BUT THE LAST THING I WANT THEM TO TRY TO DO TO FIX THIS IS.... Offer more free DLC. I do not care about that and that will not fix this problem. No easy way out this time, they need to really put effort into fixing a problem that affected only their most loyal costumers. The ones who went out day one and bought it. We are the ones who have to suffer the most.

Yeah, I know but the content is on the store which is what confuses me.

I'm gonna retry on Friday/Saturday morning and see if it works then, I just hope that DOA5U/LR 360 save upload isn't required because I've lost the disc to my 360 DOA5U ;~;

And it's still like £20 to buy(£34.99 on XBL)

so many problems with the xbox versions. I feel your pain though, I would be pissed if my game data reset itself after x amount of hours played.
In doa4 i put in alot of hours but only for it to crash one time and deleted everything. I was so ticked off after that moment.

I wouldn't worry, having a copy of DOA5U available won't be needed to carry over DLC, that's all done on the XBL account side of things. They will just flick a switch at some point to tell the store you're entitled to download the Xbox One versions of the DLC for free. It'll just take time, that's all.

Yeah, I'll try to wait it out for now and just play with the DLC I DO have and the pre-order stuffs.

And good to know the 360 save isn't needed, not that I had anything on it anyway since switching to PS3 for 5U I basically abandoned the 360 version and deleted everything but DLC

Well, I still have my costumes I didn't pay for unlocked, along with the ones offered on the disc (including some ones I didn't buy like swimsuits), but I can't seem to get anything that I bought as part of a bundle. I got Ayane's workout outfit, but not the Halloween packs. Weird.

I just want to let my fellow DOA players know that now that its been a few days, I have had time to collect myself and the initial rage has passed somewhat. But TN has completely ruined the launch of LR. That's not an insult to them its just an observable fact. Not only did the DLC transfer not work but the also deleted my entire save file and on top of that the online Xbox One online crashes every time I try to play online. So I have not been able to play with my friends or anyone, I have just been in training.

I paid for the full retail version of X1,PS4 and PC. I am ready to wait to see what they can do to resolve this but whatever they do it has to be big. I feel like a douche to demand something like this, but they took so much time from me and promised so much and I cant even play the game period. TN don't turn your back on one of your most loyal customers
