Devil's Third (Itagaki's next project)

No Devil's Third at E3, but it's "well along" in development. I'm guessing they're going to show something at TGS in September.
If this is the case, then it very well gives me a reason to hype myself up for TGS this year as of now. I had a feeling this game wasn't quite dead. I wonder who would be willing to handle publishing though. My money is on XSEED.

I wonder if it'll even look like the previous footage... I know the main character underwent at least one redesign along with the main chick unless they removed her... Who knows how many times they restarted development.

Yet despite all that, you know it's going to kick ass no matter what.

Just because it's Itagaki doesn't mean it'll be good: see DOA4.

That game was destined to fail. At the very least it has some beautiful arcade endings.

I judge him almost primarily off of his work with Ninja Gaiden, and one thing will remain very clear to me:

If this mother fucker ain't got beef with somebody in his own company he can make a bomb ass video game.

I don't know, NG2 was questionable. It seems to me that a lot of the people responsible for making Team Ninja games good left when the Xbox 360 came around or Itagaki got too much say and drowned everyone else out.

Why not just make Devils Third into a sex simulator rhythm game with Aerosmith providing the tunes

I've never fucked to Amazing but I bet it would be just that - amazing.

Who cares about DOA4, focus on the good things... Most series have at least one shitty sequel, even fighters (SC3, T4, etc).

As for who left TN I don't think anyone did until Itagaki left, at which point he took several leads to his new studio. That's why I trust Valhalla to make a fun game

For a rushed game NG2 was pretty solid and outside of some minor features was still better than Sigma 2.
