DOA HD Collection?

What would you guys think of TECMO/TEAM NINJA sprucing up the old Xbox games Dead or Alive 3, DOA: Ultimate & hell, even DOA: Dimensions & releasing it as an HD pack?

The chances are low I know but wouldn't that work wonders if they added the extra paint & maybe renewed online play? Surely that would sell well given the timing & price of the bundle?

Is there a chance of something like this ever happening considering the departure of the main man or will this idea simply remain a dream of mine lol.

Im guessing it would remain a dream only because i dont think there would be enough demand for it. If there was enough demand and a profit to be made then most definitely i could see it happening.

I don't see remakes of the games happening anytime soon, but you might see some ports to the XBLA. SC did this so maybe it's a possibility. It might even have online. You might want to twitter TN about it if you want to give them some food for thought.

I wouldn't bother since DOA5 is my favorite DOA, and I have all the others anyway.

I own the old Xbox titles also, but i reckon it would be a good move especially for those who were unable to play the original Xbox exclusive titles. It would build the fanbase even further & at the same time give new DoA players the chance of seeing how this series evolved with each iteration. While DoA5 is fresh, so is the interest in the series so an HD collection would be ideal & good timing imo to get everyone involved in this great series.

But eh, just a thought

Although I would enjoy DOA3U, I honestly can say that for the time being I'm enjoying DOA5 enough to subside going retro.

Agreed. 5 is solid, the idea of DOA3.1U is drool worthy though.

I'd rather they focus on supporting DOA 5 at the moment. Bringing in necessary patches for the bugs, fixing online net code, and providing more DLC is what I'm really looking forward to. I can always boot up DOA3 and play some matches with friends if I wanted.

As much I am enjoying DOA5, it's more difficult to go back into the previous series....unless its DOA3. lol

Even though it'd be great to have DOA3.1 as a worldwide release, the DOA games that would be best for re-release would be the original DOA arcade game, DOA++ and original DOA2. And they can all fit as an XBLA game.

Like that idea, kind of like the arcade collections they do for Capcom.
