I'm pretty sure Japan wasn't the only country to complain... I mean DOA was built on sex and violence, if you take away the sex it's not DOA. That's like MK without fatalities.

I wouldn't ban the good outfits, just the shitty inappropriate fetishwear. Which happens to be most of the dlc. Id be keeping the good stuff like legacy, casual, and school. And ONE bikini for each girl. ONE.

Like, aside from specific things like doa4 endings and the bikinis in 2u, DOA was actually fairly classy about it. It was a stylish fighter with some female characters who HAPPENED to be attractive. Spinoffs notwithstanding.

Let's stop pretending all this sexiness started with DOA5. The promotion of the sexy part of the game happened with earlier titles as well. DOA5 was NOT the first game to feature sexy advertisements of the girls, it was NOT the first game to include bikinis/fetish wear for the girls, and it currently doesn't have a spin off Xtreme game with the newer character models. Itagaki started this, Hayashi embraced it. Stop blaming DOA5 for its image problem when the game has been advertised as sexy from the get go.

Also, people probably praised it because it wasn't fetish wear. It was something that looked cool, despite the entire outfit consisting of recolors from Phase-4's C3 & C4, and recycled outfits from Razor's Edge. It was a good break from the endless fetish wear and bikini that we received during DOA5U's lifespan.

although the SK outfits could potentially delay the gameplay depending on how the ripped clothes is handled so that would be a more valid reason to issue a ban.

tbh i only want ripped clothing from danger zones. If from normal moves...DOA will slowly turn into Ikkitousen... AND EVERYONE WILL BE 18, EVEN GEN FU, and they will all have school uniform outfits as their main costumes

If the SK costumes do feature costume destruction, I think it would make more sense for it to only happen during Danger Zones. I simple punch to the gut won't destroy fabric.

Except those aren't outright ruining the experience in MK (jelly blood in da-armageddon notwithstanding). Also FYI in the original games you COULD turn blood off. It was an option.

I do believe its the other way around. The games you should be playing are Senran Kagura, Akiba Strip, Leisure Suit Larry, and Window Girl if this level of sexploitation is what you honestly want to defend.

Though with the upcoming SK pack, I suppose you ARE getting what you truly want, what with disintegrating clothes, on top of gravure vids and endless bikinis, its only a matter of time before they add the Groping Mode from Senran Kagura as well.

DOA only became an outright ecchi game with 5. Previously it just happened to have attractive girls with a few token sexy moments like Christies endings, and a couple of bikinis for the girls. Just token stuff. Now that's ALL there is.

I don't know why you think I am defending it, I am simply disagreeing with you. And I also don't get why you think you know me and know my gaming habits. Once again, is the sexuality of DOA5 ruining the DOA series? I say no! You say yes!

I have tried to make my point several times, the same as everyone here, giving their opinions and explaining themselves. As is their prerogative. I love DOA, I love the franchise, I have been playing it for years.

You really can't lump DOA5 with a bunch of a kusoge just because they all feature T&A. I love boobies and will defend to the death the right to gratuitous boobage, but I will not play a shitty game for boobs when there's google. I am insulted, sir.

Now do I think it's stupid that everyone is suddenly a maid? Yeah but only because it drains the personality from the characters. The ninja outfits are just as stupid, I don't think anyone should be concerned with sex over laziness
