My point exactly... You can't call something a pro league then premiere it at an event that is essentially locked out to everybody but select individuals. I know it's just a big promotional thing...but it still bugs me.

Yes, the 3 new characters and 1 new stage are to be revealed at this thing. Whether they are 'new' characters or 'redesigned' characters, I haven't seen anything in the news to suggest either.

Well we honestly don't know for sure who will be shown off. I would assume all the characters that we've seen so far in addition to a handful we haven't but, you never know, they might opt to not show characters we've seen already and focus on new ones. Bass was shown off in the initial DOA4 trailer but he was never playable in any prerelease builds of the game for example.

As much as I'd like to see Bass and Jann Lee, maybe they'll go ahead and drop the new characters to get gameplay feedback on them early on.

Or, due to the system changes, they focus on the redesigned characters to make sure they fit well in the new system. Then, once the system is finalized, the new characters are announced and tweaked.
